Ottoman atlas smashes auction estimate
A rare Islamic atlas discovered in the attic of a historic home has sold for more than four times its estimate at auction, BBC News has reported.
The atlas was one of only 50 produced and it was discovered at Weston Hall in Northamptonshire, home of the Sitwell family for more than 300 years.

Omar Sharif Dies Aged 83
Egypt-born actor Omar Sharif has died at the age of 83.
Sharif, best known for his roles in "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Doctor Zhivago," suffered a heart attack in a hospital Cairo, according to his agent, Steve Kenis.
Earlier in 2015 his agent announced that he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, according to reports of the BBC News.

Former Iraqi Deputy PM Tariq Aziz Dies
Tariq Aziz, Iraq's former deputy prime minister and foreign minister, died Friday after suffering a heart attack.
Aziz, 79, was Iraq's foreign minister between 1983 and 1991 and deputy prime minister between 1979 and 2003.
