Social Democratic Party (PSD) Vice Chairperson Gabriela Firea says Christian Liberal Alliance's (ACL) candidate for president Klaus Iohannis "has taken over and praises without hesitating the Basescu economic model, based on cuts and austerity."

The Government has the financial resources to increase the minimum pension to 400 lei in 2015, Prime Minister Victor Ponta announced on Thursday.

He mentioned two categories of retirees whose pensions should be increased — the court clerks, and the aircrews.
