Ship with over 450 on board sinks in China's Yangtze
Chinese rescuers on June 2 searched for hundreds missing after a passenger ship carrying more than 450 people capsized in the storm-hit Yangtze river, with several survivors reportedly confirmed trapped in the upturned hull.
Death Toll from New Nepal Quake Tops 40, Over 1,100 Injured
The death toll from Tuesday's 7.3-magnitude earthquake in Nepal has risen to at least 42 people, while more than 1,100 others have been injured, according to the country's Home Affairs Ministry.
The tremor hit less than three weeks after a previous quake near the capital Katmandu left more than 8,000 people dead.

China is considering further changes to its family planning laws, Premier Li Keqiang said on March 15, after a relaxation in the "one child policy" failed to see significantly more babies being born.
The ruling Communist Party imposed strict rules in the late 1970s to limit population growth, with most urban couples restricted to a single offspring.
