I first met Andrew Liveris in 2012 in Florida, at the most significant annual meeting of prominent Greek Americans of the Leadership 100 organization, which had been founded by Archbishop Iakovos. It was during the peak of the Greek economic crisis and the forecast was grim.

A three-year US Securities and Exchange Commission investigation found that Dow Chemical failed to properly disclose around $3 million in perks for former chief executive Andrew Liveris, ranging from personal use of company aircraft to sporting events and dues Dow paid to a charity Liveris chaired.

DowDuPont Inc chief Andrew Liveris will step down on April 1, making good on an earlier promise to retire as the company named existing managers to head its materials science unit when it is spun off as Dow next year.

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan encouraged approximately 40 international investors he met during his visit to the U.S. on May 15 and 16 to intensify investments in Turkey, a written statement from the meeting's coordinator, the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT), said on May 17.
