Taci running one of Kosovo's largest crime groups - Blic
BELGRADE - Kosovo President Hasim Taci is running one of the largest crime groups in Kosovo-Metohija, Blic reported on Monday, quoting secret documents on the ethnic Albanian mafia in Serbia's southern province.
Serbian Daily "Blic" links Hashim Thaci to crimes, war crimes, terrorists
The Belgrade-based daily Blic has started publishing articles which it says reveal "secret data about the Albanian mafia in Kosovo."
In the first installment of a series of articles, the newspaper writes that Kosovo President Hashim Thaci "heads one of the biggest criminal organizations."
Kosovo town mayor, convicted of war crimes, in custody again
Srbica Mayor Sami Lushtaku, who has been convicted of war crimes committed against civilians in Kosovo, has been arrested after leaving a hospital.
Lushtaku is a former member of the now disbanded ethnic Albanian KLA and its "Drenica Group" and was in the hospital temporarily for treatment. He was previously sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Kosovo's Drenica Group Appeal War Crimes Convictions
A defence lawyer for one of the so-called Drenica Group ex-guerrillas, who were sentenced to a total of 65 years in jail for war crimes, said on Tuesday that they will appeal against the convictions, which he called a "legal massacre".
Kosovo FM Accused of Interfering With Justice
Dutch ambassador Robert Bosch told newspaper Kosovo Sot on Thursday that Thaci's claim that the verdict convicting the ex-guerrillas was politically motivated was inappropriate.
"Officials should never comment on the decision of the court," said Bosch.

Members of Drenica Group released pending trial
PRISTINA - Members of the Drenica Group who are charged with war crimes committed against civilians in the prison camp of former (ethnic Albanian paramilitary unit) Kosovo Liberation Army in 1998 have been released pending trial, Pristina media reported.

Witness A: Thaci Ordered Killings of Collaborators
A protected witness told the court on Monday that Hashim Thaci personally told Sylejman Selimi and other defendants in the so-called Drenica Group trial to kill alleged collaborators with the Serbian authorities.
