Student Credits for BGN 50 Million with State Guarantee
The Government issued a state guarantee of up to BGN 50 million under the Student and PhD Students Loan Act for 2018 for new loans granted during the budget year. Financial support consists of guaranteeing principal and interest on credit obligations.
Robbers in Bulgaria Make off with ATM on Christmas Eve
Robbers have stolen an ATM in the town of Dupnitsa on Christmas Eve, Nova TV reported on Friday.
The ATM was loaded with some BGN 200,000 (EUR 100,000) before Christmas, Nova TV said. However, it was not immediately clear how much money there was in the ATM at the time of the robbery.

DSK Bank and CIBANK will provide a revolving loan of BGN 80 M to the FLAG Fund (Fund of Local Government Authorities in Bulgaria).
The money will be used to finish municipal projects financed under operational programs "Environment" and "Regional Development" for the 2007-2013 programming period, according to a media statement of the Regional Development Ministry.

Interior Minister Veselin Vuchkov has announced he had approved measures to step up security at bank offices where deposit holders will have access to their savings at Corporate Commercial Bank (Corpbank or KTB).
Thursday, December 4 is the first day of reimbursement, with deposit holders allowed to manage their assets over the next five years.

Municipal Officials in Brezovo Charged over Pension Fund Fraud Scheme
