The Bulgarian Energy Holding is in the final stages of taking commitments regarding the BEH Gas case. To this end, the Parliament will instruct the Energy Minister Temenuja Petkova to take the necessary actions to reach an agreement with the European Commission's case BEH gas.

After Prime Minister Boyko Borissov's meeting with EC President Jean-Claude Juncker and the leaders of the Western Balkans, Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev commented to the media that his country is ready with all the infrastructure projects and he is looking for European funding.

We are glad that there is a great improvement in the relations between the European Commission and Poland, Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva said at a press conference after the morning session of the EU General Affairs Council meeting on 27th of February. Zaharieva chaired the meeting.

''It is time to talk with numbers and deadlines for transport corridors. The total amount of infrastructure investments in the Balkans will cost 30 billion euros.'' This was stated by Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker arrived in Skopje on Sunday, on the first stop in a tour of six Balkan countries, where talks with government officials were expected to focus on negotiations between Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia over the latter's name.

In an editorial, citied by Sputnik, the Financial Times also said that the EU should not "step back" - otherwise Russia and Turkey would "fill the gap."

These reports cite those published in neighboring Slovenia, which state that the reason for the situation is the issue of border disputes.

The Croatian media are singling out as an important point from the newest EU enlargement strategy for the Western Balkans that the issue of future membership will be conditioned with the solving of border disputes.

This "confirmed the European future of the region as a geostrategic investment in a stable, strong and united Europe based on common values," the EC said in a press release.

"If there is something that Bulgaria will insist on and will hold firmly, this is the theme for the Cohesion Funds," Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said at the joint press conference at the National Palace of Culture with EC President Jean-Claude Juncker.

In his words, the most risk-free prospect for the EU is to build infrastructure in the Balkans to provide connectivity.

''The Western Balkans are a priority of the European Commission as well as a priority of Bulgaria.'' This is what EC President Jean-Claude Juncker said during his meeting with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov at the Council of Ministers, announced bTV participants in the event.
