European Perspective of the Western Balkans: Meeting in Austria

The leaders of the Western Balkan countries and EU commissioners, Maria Gabriel and Johannes Hahn, are in Vienna at the invitation of Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz, reported the Bulgarian National Television. 

This morning they discussed the European perspective of the Western Balkans, regional cooperation and bilateral contacts.

EU Commissioner Calls on Macedonian Opposition to Return to Parliament

EU Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn called on the Macedonian opposition to return to parliament in order to defuse the heightened political tensions, which have recently gripped the country.

Hahn said this after a meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade on Thursday, the Macedonian Information Agency (MIA) informs.

Kocijancic: Concern over allegations against ombudsman

BRUSSELS - Maja Kocijancic, spokesperson of EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Johannes Hahn, has expressed concern over the allegations targeted at Serbia's Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic and called on government institutions to cooperate fully with regulatory bodies, including the ombudsman.
