The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is extending a new Turkish Lira-denominated long-term loan equivalent to $110 million to Enerjisa Enerji, one of Turkey's largest utilities, according to statements released on Nov. 30. 

Romanian gas distribution and transmission companies will invest a total of 1.6 billion lei under 2021 projects, according to a press release of the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE), sent to AGERPRES on Monday.

The Mayor of Timisoara, Nicolae Robu, said on Tuesday that it was inadmissible to extinguish, for several hours, the flame that burns continuously in the Cemetery of Heroes, because the payment of the gas invoice amounting to 5,600 lei [some 1,186 euro] has not yet entered the accounts of E.ON Gas.

Sabancı Holding and E.ON have made an agreement to restructure Enerjisa and its subsidiaries, Sabancı said in a statement on March 24. 

Each company has a 50 percent stake in the energy company.
