PASOK leader Androulakis accepts Doukas’ debate proposal ahead of runoff election
PASOK party leader Nikos Androulakis expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of internal party elections during an interview with Mega TV on Monday, emphasizing that he is open to holding a debate with his opponent in the second round, Athens Mayor Haris Doukas.
Androulakis and Doukas will compete for the leadership of the socialist PASOK party next Sunday.
PM Dancila about European Commissioner proposal: I will first talk to President-elect of EC
Prime Minister Viorica Dancila, leader of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), said on Tuesday that she will make a new proposal of European Commissioner after having a discussion with Ursula von der Leyen, President-elect of the European Commission. Premier Dancila did not rule that there might be even more proposals for the position of European Commissioner.
