Turkey's Forest and Waterworks minister has said the country's fire response time has decreased from 40 minutes in 2003 to 15 minutes in 2015, dramatically diminishing the amount of forest land destructed in each fire. 

The two brothers who blew themselves up in the deadly train and airport attacks in Brussels were known by police for serious crimes and are linked to last November's Paris massacre.

Khalid and Ibrahim El Bakraoui are Belgian nationals with major convictions "not linked to terrorism," federal prosecutor Frederic Van Leeuw said at a dramatic news briefing on March 23.

One suspect has been shot dead in a counter-terrorism raid in Brussels linked to last year's terror attacks in Paris in which 130 people were killed, the BBC reported on Tuesday.

As many as two other suspects are reportedly on the run after Belgian police raided an apartment in Forest, a south Brussels suburb, according to the BBC.
