Wizz Air, Europe's fastest growing airline and the world's most environmentally sustainable*, will increase the number of flights from Varna, Larnaca and Cluj-Napoca to offer passengers even more opportunities to explore the best destinations in its network during the summer and fall seasons.

Wizz Air is expanding its operations from Varna Airport by introducing four new destinations and increasing the frequency of flights to existing ones. The low-cost airline plans to base a second aircraft at the airport to facilitate these additions.

A number of 27 routes operated from some airports in Romania to destinations in nine countries will be gradually reopened by Wizz Air, according to a press release of the airline, sent to AGERPRES on Friday. The reopening of the flights will take place until June 6.

A number of passengers received medical attention after a Ryanair flight from Dublin to Croatia was forced to make an emergency landing in Germany.

The flight to the coastal city of Zadar landed at Frankfurt-Hahn airport at around 11.30pm due to an in-flight depressurisation.

Oxygen masks were deployed and a "controlled descent" was initiated.
