Dacic: This was our message to Skopje - we know everything you do

Serbia's decision to withdraw its embassy staff from Macedonia is in fact "a message to Skopje."

The message is that Serbia "knows what they laid their heads together for, and what they agreed on," First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Tuesday.

We condemn the participation of fYROM’s Consul General in Toronto, Jovica Palacevski, in an irredentist event, a participation that constitutes yet another violation by fYROM of the Interim Accord, which requires abstention from any action supporting territorial claims.

Thousands of angry protestors took to the streets of FYROM after EU officials allegedly tried to meddle in the nation’s domestic politics.

Demonstrators took to the capital of Skopje chanting “Macedonia! Macedonia!”. What started this reaction was that the EU commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn reportedly rejected proposals to meet with nationalists.

We ask if Alexander The Great was…”Macedonian”, Greek…or both

Right away this title is going to get a wide variety of reactions. Some people are already angry that anyone could say that Alexander wasn’t Greek or that he was only Macedonian, even saying that he was both could rile some people up. On the other hand, some people may have no idea how big an issue this has been in recent years and haven’t given a thought to the ethnicity of Alexander.
