Athens stock exchange at one month low – Fourth consecutive session of losses
The Greek stock market continued to be “trapped” in a selling mood for the fourth consecutive day, with shares retreating significantly from the 1,420-point level and losing the support of 1,415 points. The share placements and capital increases by listed companies seem to be weighing on the market, at least in the short term.
Anna + Nikos = Love, the fuss over Kasselakis’ Asset Declaration, Pavlos’ appointment (but in 2027) & the favorite for the Superfund
– Greetings! Just when we were almost done with the PASOK crowd and thought we’d be bored with the government’s dull antics, bam, the SYRIZA people pop up to give us life and fodder for instant commentary. Kasselakis exploded in fury because, as EfSyn (a newspaper aligned with them) reported, some details from his declaration of assets came to light.
Dynamic rebound on the Athens Stock Exchange – Return to above 1,440 points
The Greek stock market had its best session in a “deep” month today (23/9). After a sluggish start, buyers turned active with banks spearheading the rally, which gained more than +2%. In this way, the X.A. broke out of the “bottleneck” of 1,420-1,430 points, in which it had been “trapped”.
Low “speeds” on the Athens Stock Exchange but maintained the positive sign in the week
The Greek stock market is in “repression”, as evidenced by the stagnation picture it has shown this week. Traders settled for selective moves and stayed away from the high rhythms of the international markets. Athens did not “seize” the opportunity yesterday, when the major markets moved to record levels, and was left today to tune in to their corrective tendencies.
New Setback for the Athens Stock Exchange – At Day’s Lows, but Holds at 1,430 Points
The Greek stock market experienced a new downturn following a similar movement at the end of the previous week. The initial rise to around 1,440 points was followed by a shift in investor sentiment, with Athens failing to align with the positive mood of European markets. However, the losses did not cause concern as the support level at 1,430 points remained intact.

Rating agency Moody's commented on Monday that the sale by Intralot of a 16.5 percent in lottery company Ellinika Lachia to main stakeholder OPAP is a credit positive for Intralot, and that the price of 20 million euros will go a long way toward improving its liquidity, which to date was seen as "weak," according to the agency.
