Macron considers blocking Social Media if there are New Riots in France
French President Emmanuel Macron is considering blocking social networks in his fight against further unrest in France, DPA reported.
"It will be necessary to think about which social networks are used by protesting youth and possible bans", Macron said at a meeting with mayors in Paris.
ECB’s Lagarde: Let’s not get fixated on coronabonds
Europe should not get hung up on the idea of issuing coronabonds through a specially created European rescue fund, ECB President Christine Lagarde said in a newspaper interview published on Thursday.
"I don't think that we should get fixated on 'coronabonds'. In Europe, things take a bit more time than we would like, but we always find a solution," she told French daily Le Parisien.

Lagarde insists on debt restructuring
International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Christine Lagarde has reiterated that Greece's mountainous debt needs restructuring.
Speaking to French newspaper Le Parisien, Lagarde insisted that the IMF can only join the Greek program if Athens implements more reforms and the country's debt is made manageable.

Paris metro race abuse victim makes criminal complaint
A black French man pushed off a Paris metro train and racially abused by Chelsea supporters on Feb. 18 made a criminal complaint to police and demanded that the fans be punished.
"These people, these English supporters, must be found, punished and locked up," the victim of the widely condemned assault told Le Parisien newspaper.
Big cat on prowl near Paris 'not tiger'
French authorities searching for a mysterious big cat spotted prowling around a town on the outskirts of Paris revealed Nov. 14 it was unlikely to be a tiger as initially suspected.
After examining tracks, experts from the national hunting and wildlife office and a nearby big cat park said: "We can exclude the presence of an animal from the tiger species."

Saudi prince robbed of 250,000 euros in Paris carjacking
Kalashnikov-wielding robbers have attacked the motorcade of a Saudi prince in Paris, making off with 250,000 euros ($335,000) in cash and reportedly stealing "sensitive" documents, French police said Monday.
