A total of 43 Turkish companies entered the prestigious ENR Top 250 International Contractors list this year, with Limak ranking 48th.

Limak climbed two spots from the previous year's list.

Renaissance dropped from 38th in 2023 to 53rd this year, while Enka fell from 53rd to 54th.

The recent presidential decree issued regarding the expropriation of the land surrounding Akbelen Forest for establishing a lignite mine site in the southwestern province of Muğla has been canceled.

National Bank of Kuwait and Kuwait Finance House on Feb. 21 signed a 249.2 million dinars ($831.3 million) syndicated loan facility for Turkey’s business group Limak for the building of a new terminal at Kuwait airport.

Turkey's Limak has said it became a partner in a $570 million (34 billion rubles) worth highway construction project in the Russian city of Ufa. 

The Turkish Limak Holding and its Kuwaiti partner, Al-Kharafi International, laid the foundation stone for a $4.3 billion airport terminal project - the largest tender won abroad in a single package by Turkish contractors - with a ceremony in the Gulf country on May 9.

Two Turkish companies, Limak and Summa, won a tender to complete the construction of the Aéroport International Blaise-Diagne Airport (AIBD) in Senegal's capital, Dakar, according to a written statement published on April 28. 

Turkish airport operator TAV aims to add one or two airports to its portfolio and boost revenue from its service businesses to compensate for the looming expiry of its contract to run Istanbul's Atatürk Airport, Chief Executive Sani ?ener said on Feb. 14.

While the city of Skopje planned to set aside 51 million euro for the important bypass, the lowest bidder, a Bulgarian-Macedonian consortium composed of Pons Troy Engineering, Gp Group and Urban Plan, has sought 66.9 million euro.

Another group of Bulgarian firms has offered to do the work for 69.8 million euro while a Bulgarian-Portuguese consortium sought 67.3 million euro.
