Workathlon’s Hospitality Career Days to take place in February
For the fourth consecutive year, Workathlon, a company which offers innovative recruiting solutions for the hospitality industry, is organizing its annual Hospitality Career Days events.
More than 5,000 tourism professionals and 60 emblematic hotels participated in last year's Career Days events, which took place in Thessaloniki, Crete and Athens.
Blackstone to buy five hotels in Greek islands
Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe, a unit of US private equity firm Blackstone Group, agreed to buy five hotels in Greece from Louis Group in a deal valued at 178.6 million euros (197 million dollars), the firm said on Friday.
Greece has seen an upsurge in tourism in recent years. A record number of about 33 million visited year.

Hotel career day fairs to be held in four Greek cities
Workathlon is organizing its second annual Interactive Hospitality Talent Fairs in four cities across Greece, starting on January 17 in Thessaloniki.
The northern port city will be followed on January 22 by Iraklio, Crete, on February 7 by Rhodes and on February 14 by Athens.
