Lufthansa slashes 900 flights as pilots' strike drags on
German heavyweight airline Lufthansa cancelled a further 890 flights on Nov. 30 as pilots remained on strike in a long-running wage dispute.

The airline had already scrapped nearly 900 flights that affected 100,000 passengers on Nov. 23 after pilots staged a walkout in a row over pay and working conditions.

Lufthansa Strike to Cancel Flights Between Bulgaria, Germany on Wednesday
A strike of Lufthansa employees will cancel flights between the Bulgarian capital and the airports in Frankfurt and Munich on Wednesday.
Sofia airport informed that two flights to and from Frankfurt will be cancelled, namely the one departing at 6.40 o'clock (EET) and the one arriving at 13.15 o'clock (EET).

Airbus net profits soar to 2.7 bln euros on rising orders
Airbus Group said on Feb. 24 its net profits climbed 15 percent last year and predicted deliveries of more than 650 aircraft in 2016 and a rise in orders to record levels.
The France-based European aerospace group chalked up a net profit of 2.7 billion euros ($3 billion), with sales up 6 percent to 64 billion euros.
