Greece condemned, again, over eco-policy failings
Greece was condemned by the European Court of Justice on Thursday for failing to set conservation targets for protected habitats, a process that should have been completed by 2012.
The latest rebuke is indicative of the country's reluctance to take substantial environmental protection measures over the past decade.

Kenya's Korir wins Paris Marathon
Mark Korir of Kenya won the Paris Marathon on April 12, his first career victory in a prestigious international race.
Korir, 30, who was second in last month's Paris Half-Marathon, came home in a time of 2hr 05min 46sec, ahead of another Kenyan, Luka Kanda.
Seboka Tola of Ethiopia was third, with yet another Kenyan, Mike Kigen, fourth.

Athens Half-Marathon attracts 12,000 participants

Some 12,000 people on Sunday morning participated in the races of the Athens Half Marathon, that is evolving into another street event with prestige in the birthplace of the Marathon.
