Hello there! It took Nikos A.A. (Leader of the Opposition) a while to meet Mitsotakis, but as far as I’ve gathered from my sources at M.M. (Maximos Mansion), once he got going, the leader wasn’t just official… he was ultra-official. From what I hear, he came across well—serious and composed (for PASOK, that is). He didn’t go to extremes, nor did he turn the one-on-one with K.M.

The Greek stock market continued to be “trapped” in a selling mood for the fourth consecutive day, with shares retreating significantly from the 1,420-point level and losing the support of 1,415 points. The share placements and capital increases by listed companies seem to be weighing on the market, at least in the short term.
UAE ambassador highlights strengthening ties with Greece in trade, tourism and energy
UAE Ambassador to Greece Ali Obaid Al Dhaheri highlighted the strengthening of UAE-Greece relations in the fields of finance, tourism and culture during a press conference in Athens.
"The bilateral relations between the UAE and Greece are stronger than ever, based on a shared vision for growth and prosperity," he said, adding that the UAE is keen to boost bilateral trade.
Heading for record year in M&As
This year is shaping up to be a record one for acquisitions and mergers. This is shown by the transactions of more than 5 billion euros that have taken place or are being completed since the beginning of the year, not including the bond issues that the four largest banks proceeded with, drawing liquidity of several billion euros.

Copelouzos, InfinityPower sign GREGY MoU
Copelouzos Group, through its subsidiary companies Damco Energy and Elica Mediterranean Interconnection, and Infinity Power, a joint venture between Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) and Egypt's Infinity, have signed a memorandum of understanding in order to access, on a non-exclusive basis, the possibility of jointly developing renewable energy projects that will provide the GREGY power

EBRD and IFC provide EUR 215mn loan for wind farm in Serbia
The EBRD and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) are providing a EUR 215 million loan to Cibuk 1 wind farm, the bank has announced.
This is the largest wind project in Serbia and the Western Balkans to date, and the investment underscores EBRD's commitment to investing in renewable energy, a statement said.
