Iranian airliner skids into street; all 150 passengers safe
An Iranian passenger airliner carrying some 150 passengers skidded off the runway and into a street next to the airport in the southern city of Mahshahr on Jan. 27, after apparently losing its landing gear in a hard landing.
Bulgaria Mulls Four Options for New Fighter Jets
Bulgaria will be selecting among four offers of multi-purpose jet fighters to regenerate its ageing fleet of Soviet MiG-29 planes, the Defence Ministry said on Monday.
The four options came from Italy, the US and Sweden.

Authorities said on July 24 they located the wreckage of an Air Algerie flight after it crashed in northern Mali carrying 116 passengers and crew, nearly half of them French, en route from Burkina Faso to Algeria.
