Foreign Direct Investments in Bulgaria Increased in 2019
The foreign direct investments in Bulgaria continue to increase in 2019. According to data of the Bulgarian National Bank, between January and October this year FDIs amounted to EUR 953.1 million, which was EUR 554 million more as compared to the same period last year.
Automobile Giant Opens Sixth Plant in Bulgaria
"Teklas Bulgaria" will build a sixth factory on the territory of Bulgaria. The company, which produces rubber compound and plastic products for the biggest automotive companies, has chosen Vratsa for its newest factory, according to a statement by the mayor Kalin Kamenov. In the beginning, the company will hire 500 people, and at a later stage their number will double.

A German Company will Invest 21.5 million BGN in a Factory near Vratsa
Minister of Economy Emil Karanikol awarded an investment certificate Class A to "MD Electronic" Ltd. under the Investment Promotion Act (IPA), the Ministry of Economy announced. The amount of the investment amounts to BGN 21.5 million, with 300 new jobs being opened.
MD Elektronik Invests BGN 22 Million in a Plant in Vratsa
The municipal council of Vratsa approved almost unanimously the sale of 83 decares of land to the German company MD Elektronik. The company already has an A-class certificate from the Bulgarian Investment Agency. It will invest 22 million leva in the new plant. It is expected that 300 jobs will be created in the first instance and later the expansion of the team to 1 000 people.
