Mytilineos raises share buyback price ceiling
A Mytilineos SA general shareholders' meeting on Monday approved a board plan to raise the price ceiling of a share buyback program from 25 to 40 euros and create a special reserve up to €20 million euros to cover the company's participation in investments included in the development law.

Seven bidders for Thessaloniki port pier extension project
Seven companies and consortia have expressed interest in undertaking the work for the extension of Thessaloniki port's sixth pier, at the end of the pre-selection stage of the tender.
The extension will enable the port to accommodate "Super Post New Panamax" high-capacity vessels, and carries a provisional budget of 130 million euros (exclusive of VAT).
Construction on Mytilineos plant to start in October
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will lay the foundation stone for the first major private investment in Greece after the country's economic crisis on October 2, as implementation of Mytilineos SA's 300-million-euro investment in a new electricity production unit that will be fueled by natural gas gets under way at the Agios Nikolaos Energy Center in Viotia, central Greece.
Tender for PPC units ends in utter failure
The Public Power Corporation tender for the concession of the lignite plants at Meliti and Megalopoli has ended in failure, as was expected.
The PPC board rejected Mytilineos SA's bid for the Meliti plants on Friday, as well as the below-par offer by the Sev.en Energy-GEK Terna consortium for the entire portfolio that PPC is selling.
