Trains running between Bucharest North, Airport stations to also have a stop at Mogosoaia Park station
All CFR Calatori [Romania's National Railway Company - Passengers branch - editor's note] trains running between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm to and from Henri Coanda Airport will also stop at Mogosoaia Park station [a park in a rural town north-west of Bucharest - editor's note], starting July 15, the company informs on Friday.
CFR Calatori CEO: We'll probably end 2020 with 300-something ml lei in losses
The National Railway Company's passenger arm CFR Calatori will most likely end 2020 with losses of over 300 million lei, but this is still less than the 680 million lei budgeted at the beginning of the year, the company's CEO Dan Costescu declared on Wednesday.
Official Bode: If there is an agreement with Austria, they won't be able to take whomever they please
Minister of Transport Lucian Bode on Friday stated in Timisoara that there has been no such official request from an Austrian official related to a train that was supposed to leave from the Timisoara Railway Station on May 2 to transport workforce from Romania to Austria, to take care of the elderly in this country.

Romanian Rail Company Axes Third of Staff
Romania's state-run rail freight carrier, CFR Marfa, has laid off around 2,296 employees in order to cut costs.
The process of shedding about a third of the company workforce started in July and will be completed by the end of December, when the final 200 workers are to be made redundant.
