"Serbia has made major steps, rule of law main challenge"
Serbia has made "major steps toward its strategic goal of EU membership by opening four very significant chapters."
This is according to EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, who also noted that "strengthening of the rule of law remained the main challenge," Tanjug reported.
EU Commissioner Hahn visits Serbia
Serbia "will always be able to protect national interests, but will behave responsibly when it comes to stabilization of the region," Aleksandar Vucic has said.
According to the Serbian government's website, the prime minister made the statement after a meeting with EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn on Saturday in Belgrade.
