Minister pledges new buses after one bursts into flames

Athens bus, trolley service changes come into effect Monday
Several changes in bus and trolley services come into effect on Monday as part of a gradual reorganization being carried out by Attica bus and trolley operator OSY.
Mondays changes will affect the southern Athens network and are aimed at reducing bus and trolley services toward the city center while redirecting commuter traffic to the Athens metro.

Two inspectors working for the Attica transit operator OSY and two print shop owners have been indicted on felony charges by an Athens prosecutor after being arrested for issuing false fines to commuters caught without a valid ticket and pocketing the money themselves.

Bus spotters looking for home for 15 relics from the 1950s
A group of bus aficionados have launched a campaign to find a permanent home for 15 vehicles dating from the 1950s that are currently housed in the OSY storage hangars in the central Athens neighborhood of Gazi.
