Türkiye's leading bus brand Otokar has signed an agreement with Dopravni Spolecnost Usteckeho Kraje, the transport company of the Usti region of the Czech Republic, for the supply of 90 intercity buses.

Turkish defense companies to attend ADEX fair
A total of 41 Turkish defense companies will attend the fourth edition of the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition (ADEX), the region's largest event in the field of the defense industry and internal security.
The event will take place between Sept. 6 and 8 in the capital Baku.
A special section on a 2,800-square-meter area has been allocated to the "Turkish Pavilion."

Turkish defense firms to attend fair in Chile
Turkey's largest defense companies will showcase their products at another international fair, this time in Chile.
Aselsan, Aspilsan, Havelsan, Nurol, Otokar, Repkon, Roketsan, Tisaş, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ, and Canik will take part in the International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE), which will take place between April 5 and April 10 in Chile's capital Santiago.

Otokar wins major bus contract in Amman
Turkey's leading bus manufacturer Otokar has won a major bus tender in Jordan.
According to the contract, Otokar will manufacture and export 136 buses, including 100 Vectio models and 36 Kent models, for the transportation needs of the Amman municipality.

Turkish carmaker Karsan rolls out Turkey’s first electric driverless bus
Turkish carmaker Karsan has introduced Turkey's first domestically produced driverless electric bus, Karsan Atak Electric.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Feb. 1 attended a test drive of the vehicle.
"Autonomous bus producers will promote Turkey and Turkish brands globally," he said.
Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank was also present at the event.
Pristina arming KSF?
This was announced today by the Balkan Security Network portal, which states that "Pristina is thus trying to strengthen its armed forces and plans to procure additional combat equipment, but not offensive means or weapons of great firepower."
