Greek soccer league says suspension of matches a 'grave danger' to clubs
Greece's top division on Tuesday opposed the suspension of all Super League soccer fixtures over crowd trouble, saying it threatened the clubs' very existence.
Greece had indefinitely suspended matches after the owner of PAOK, Ivan Savvidis was filmed wearing a gun holster as he strode onto the pitch to protest about a disallowed goal against AEK Athens on Sunday.

PAOK president Ivan Savvidis has apologized to Greek fans and the world soccer community in a written statement for storming on the pitch during last Sunday's Super League match against AEK while carrying a gun on his waist.

Deputy Minister of Sport of Greece, George Vassiliadis, said that the local Super League will be suspended, reports bgnes.
This decision was made because of the actions of PAOK President Ivan Savidis, who invaded the field with a pistol during the derby with AEK yesterday.

Savvidis acquires stake in Mega TV as ND cries foul
Greek-Russian businessman Ivan Savvidis has bought a 19.63 percent stake in Mega TV channel, which is controlled by listed firm Teletypos, for a reported 5 million euros, it was announced Monday.
Savvidis, the owner of PAOK soccer club, purchased the stake that belonged to the Pegasus media group owned by Fotis Bobolas.
