On Monday (5/8), the General Index plunged by -7.37%, trading at 1,325.49 points, fluctuating between a low of 1,325.03 and a high of 1,428.01 points.

The current scenario reflects one of the most significant daily declines in recent years, comparable to February 24, 2022 (-6.42%) and March 23, 2020 (-7.58%). If the index falls below 1,300 points, it risks wiping out 2024’s gains.

Petropoulos and Kubota partner up

Athens-listed company Petros Petropoulos SA announced in a stock filing on Thursday that it has signed an agreement with Kubota Corporation based in Japan.

The cooperation between the two companies will result in the distribution of Kubota machines in Greece.

Petropoulos added that unit sales are expected to have a positive effect on the Greek company's results for 2018.

Petros Petropoulos assumes Avon tires distribution for Greece

Thessaloniki-based company Petros Petropoulos SA announced on Friday it is now the Avon Tires distributor for Greece following an agreement with Cooper Tire & Rubber Company.

Avon Tires, based in the UK, has been producing high-quality tires for cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles as well as racing tires since the beginning of last century.
