More than 70 percent of Italians estimate that a coronavirus crisis will cause the European Union crack-up, the research has shown.

The Italian government decided this week to extend the state of emergency by April 13, which restricted freedom of movement and closed down all businesses that are not relevant to the supply of the population.

Turkey plans to carry out rehabilitation works in war-torn areas in Syria and will build a logistics warehouse in the Syrian town of al-Rai amid budget difficulties, Deputy Prime Minister Veysi Kaynak has said. 

Six Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) members have been killed in clashes to take control of three towns in al-Rai, while Turkey hit 99 Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and four Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) targets, the army said.

It has been nearly a month since Turkey and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) launched the Euphrates' Shield Operation, which is considered a successful military move given the results so far. 

Turkey-backed rebels may extend their zone of control in northern Syria by pushing south and were now focused on heading toward the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)-held town of al-Bab, Turkish President RecepTayyip Erdoğan said on Sept. 19.
