Türkiye restricts Discord access over child safety concerns, crime issues
Türkiye restricted access to the popular messaging platform Discord early Wednesday, citing ongoing discussions about the platform's role in online crimes involving minors.
In a statement, Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç announced that access to Discord from Türkiye has been restricted due to sufficient suspicion of crimes like "child sexual abuse and obscenity."

Türkiye began unblocking Instagram Saturday evening after depriving access to millions of users for nine days.
"Following our negotiations with representatives of Instagram, we will unblock access starting from 9:30 p.m. (18:30 GMT) after they agreed to respond to our demands," transport and infrastructure minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said on X.

Turkey has blocked access to the popular video game platform Roblox over concerns about content that could lead to child abuse, the country's justice minister said.
"Our country is obliged to take the necessary measures to ensure the protection of our children," Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc said on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
