Vice President, ministers take oath at parliament
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and the ministers of the new cabinet of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have taken oath at the parliament to officially start their job.
Yılmaz and the ministers came to the parliament to take oath on June 7 after taking over their jobs from their predecessors.

Thousands march to commemorate fallen WWI soldiers
Thousands of people marched on Jan. 8 in the eastern province of Kars to commemorate the tens of thousands of Ottoman soldiers killed in the Sarıkamış operation during World War I.
The starting point of the march was Kızılçubuk, where the ill-fated operation against the Russian Caucasus Army began.

A 28-year-old pianist, Türkiye's first doctoral student with autism, has received great appreciation at his first concert, with audiences strongly applauding him for his remarkable performance.
Buğra Çankır, also known as the musical genius, was accompanied by the Ankara University Music and Fine Arts Orchestra for his concert in the capital Ankara.

Peoples' Democracy Party (HDP) Deputy Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu submitted a parliamentary question regarding the number of migrant children given to foster families in the last five years.
Government plans new support for small and medium sized companies
The government plans to launch a package to support the country's small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati has said.
"We are working on a Treasury-backed package to support SMEs in need of collateral in line with the Türkiye Economy Model, which prioritize production, exports and employment," Nebati wrote on Twitter.
Mortality rate of elderly people in Türkiye during pandemic only 4.4 percent
Family and Social Services Minister Derya Yanık stated Türkiye has various opportunities in terms of social benefits and social support. "We are one of the countries that are considered among the examples of developed social support. During the pandemic period around the world, including in developed countries, the mortality rate of the elderly people is between 31 and 84 percent.
