Societe Generale Bank Srbija (Societe Generale) posts substantial growth of profit before tax in the first half of 2018 (H1) in the amount of 5.3 bln dinars (45.1 million euros), which is by as much as 86 percent higher than the same period last year - a continuation of the positive trend constantly achieved by Societe Generale on the domestic market.

Societe Generale Bank Srbija recorded in Q1 profit after tax of 2.1 billion dinars (17.7 million euros), + 50% higher in annual terms. BELGRADE - Serbia's gross domestic product (GDP) is forecast to see a rise of 1.2 percent in 2015 after the last year's 1.8 percent decline in economic activity due to the floods, according to the Macroeconomic Research and Analysis Department of the Societe Generale Bank in Serbia.

A slight increase in exports and lower import volumes are also expected in 2015.
