EBRD, Ford Otosan charge ahead with big EV lending
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is supporting the production of a range of next generation all-electric and plug-in hybrid variants of one-ton commercial vehicles for the European market by arranging a 650 million-euro loan to Ford Otosan, US automaker Ford's joint venture with Turkey's Koç Holding, according to a statement from the bank on July 14.

Hungary’s OTP bank signs deal to acquire NKBM bank
Ljubljana – The Hungarian OTP Bank Group announced on Monday it had signed a contract to acquire the outright stake in NKBM, Slovenia’s second largest bank. The deal is expected to be finalised in the second quarter of next year as the acquirer is waiting approval from relevant regulatory authorities.

Romania attracts 3.5 billion euros from foreign capital markets, through bond issue
Romania, through the Ministry of Finance, launched on April 7 this year's first issue of Eurobonds that attracted 3.5 billion euros on the international capital markets, which enjoyed a special interest from investors, according to a press release of the Ministry of Finance, sent on Thursday to AGERPRES.
Turkey Wealth Fund receives $1.48 bln syndication loan
The Turkey Wealth Fund on March 24 announced it has finalized a syndication loan transaction amounting to €1.25 billion ($1.48 billion) with the participation of 14 banks from countries from Asia, Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
Turkish Central Bank has adequate reserves: Minister
The Turkish Central Bank's reserves are adequate to meet short-term needs, the treasury and finance minister has said, highlighting that its gross reserves stood at $53 billion as of April 24.
"Our country has kept its current account balance [stable] and it is not in financial need from any channel," Berat Albayrak told daily Sabah on May 4.
Fruitful market foray raises 2 bln euros
The Greek state has increased its cash leeway for meeting the challenges of the Covid-19 crisis by 2 billion euros thanks to Wednesday's issue of a seven-year bond, Greece's first market foray after the outbreak of the health crisis in Europe and the country's inclusion in the European Central Bank's emergency bond-buying program.

Greece opened books for a new seven-year bond issue, Refinitiv's capital markets news service IFR, reported on Wednesday.
Guidance was set at mid-swaps plus 230 basis points.

Cyprus issuing 7-year and 30-year bonds on Tuesday
The Republic of Cyprus is on Tuesday proceeding to the issue of two new bonds, a seven-year paper and a 30-year one, both euro medium-term notes (EMTN), the island's Finance Ministry announced on Monday in a message to investors.

Finance, energy ministers to attend Paris investments forum
Greek Finance Minister Christos Staikouras will be heading to Paris on Tuesday on an official two-day visit to participate in an investment forum and attend an official dinner hosted by French senators in honor of the Greek delegation.
SocGen, Citi see another good year for Greek bonds
Despite the exceptional performance of Greek bonds during 2019, Societe Generale and Citigroup analysts believe that Greek yields will fall even further this year. They note that rating agencies' cautious moves to date will be succeeded by several upgrades, starting with Fitch Ratings on January 24.
