TurkStream gas flow to halt for annual maintenance
Natural gas flow through both offshore lines of the TurkStream pipeline will be temporarily halted from 22 June until 29 June 2021, for annual maintenance and routine diagnostics, the project company, TurkStream, announced on June 16.
The works will be carried out by South Stream Transport B.V., the operator of the offshore pipeline system.

Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said in a statement on March 29 that the company aims to finish construction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline by the end of 2019, Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency and Russia's TASS have reported.
Gazprom plans to start laying Turkish Stream undersea pipes in the second half of this year, according to the statement.
Italy's Saipem Takes Gazprom to Court over South Stream Demise
Saipem, the Italian pipe-laying company that was to take part in the construction of South Stream, has filed an arbitration claim against Gazprom, a Russian business daily reports citing court documents.
The EUR 759 M claim has been lodged with Paris-based International Chamber of Commerce, RBC writes, adding the claim was submitted in November of last year.

Gazprom cancels South Stream contract with Italy's Saipem
Russia?s Gazprom has canceled a contract with Italian oil and gas contractor Saipem to build the first line of ?South Stream,? a project to build a gas pipeline beneath the Black Sea, the Russian gas company said in a statement on July 8.
Gazprom Approves Capital Increase of South Stream Transport B.V.
The Board of Directors of Gazprom has approved a capital increase of EUR 569.4 M for South Stream Transport B.V.
A total of EUR 109.7 M were included in its capital in the final quarter of 2014 and a total of EUR 459.7 M is to be included in its capital in the first quarter of 2015, according to a media statement of Gazprom, as cited by the TASS news agency.
Russia’s Gazprom buys partners’ shares in South Stream project
Russian gas giant Gazprom said on late Dec. 29 it had taken complete control of the company behind the abandoned South Stream pipeline project, buying shares belonging to Franceâs EDF, Italyâs Eni and Germanyâs Wintershall.
