Flying chunks of concrete, twisted metal sheets, craters blasted deep into the ground: The thunderous power of SpaceX's first test flight of Starship - the biggest and most powerful rocket ever built - inflicted serious damage on its Texas launch site.

SpaceX's giant new rocket exploded minutes after blasting off on its first test flight on April 20 and crashed into the Gulf of Mexico.

Elon Musk's company was aiming to send the nearly 120-meter Starship rocket on a round-the-world trip from the southern tip of Texas, near the Mexican border. It carried no people or satellites.

Elon Musk has put the current value of Twitter at $20 billion, less than half the $44 billion he paid for the social media platform just five months ago, according to an internal email seen by American news media.

A Bulgarian nanosatellite flew into space with the first orbital flight for 2023 of Elon Musk's company SpaceX. The Falcon 9 rocket was launched as part of the multi-customer Transporter-6 mission. SpaceX's mission is to launch 114 satellites from 24 countries into orbit. According to Space Flight News, a Bulgarian satellite is also on board Elon Musk's rocket.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Konstantin Vorontsov threatens to shoot down Elon Musk's Starlink satellites, as well as the satellites of Planet Labs and Maxar, which create detailed images of different areas.

Elon Musk said on Oct. 14 that SpaceX would not be able to pay for Starlink satellite internet in Ukraine indefinitely, while the US military confirmed it was communicating with the billionaire's company about funding for the key network.
