Three years ago, journalists at Sports Illustrated were worried that the venerable magazine's new owners and operators were drastically lowering its standards. They noted reports of plagiarism, and worried about substandard writing and the use of freelance reporters with little due diligence.

Sexy blonde model, and recently turned actress, Kate Upton, 26, has tied the knot with her 34-year-old partner baseball champion Justin Verlander. The couple, who have been in a relationship since 2014, but only came out in public last year, got married in a romantic setting in Italy.

Her name is Alexis Ren and she is taking the world of modeling by storm.

Recently she was chosen as the new face of Sports Illustrated and -apparently- for very good reasons!
