Carmakers dominate Turkey's top exporters list
Accounting for half of the top 10 companies, automotive firms have dominated Turkey's list of largest exporters, the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) announced on Sept. 18.
Ford was named Turkey's largest exporter in 2020, followed by Toyota Engine Manufacturing Turkey and Oyak Renault.

Automotive makers lead Turkey's top exporters' list
Carmakers were ranked as one of Turkey's largest three exporters in 2016, with Ford Otosan, a joint venture between Ford Motor Co. and Turkey's Koç Holding, topping the list with an export volume of $4 billion.
Turkey's exports rise for seven months in row, up 16 pct in May
Turkey's exports rose again for the seventh month in a row, hitting $12.5 billion in May, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci said June 1, adding that the contribution of the country's exports to economic growth would total approximately 1.5 percent in the first quarter.
Turkish exports go up in March
Turkey's exports have increased for a third straight month in March, data from the Exporters' Assembly of Turkey (TİM) revealed on April 1.
Turkish exports in March have increased 19 percent year-on-year, the highest rise since November 2012, according to TİM.

Turkey's exports rise over 5 pct in February with significant increases in China, US and Israel markets
Turkey's exports rose to $11.3 billion in February with a 5.1 percent increase compared to the same month of 2016, according to data from a top sector association.
The country's 12-month exports reached $143.2 billion with a 2.6 percent of year-on-year increase, the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TİM) announced on March 1.
Israel to ease visas for Turkish businesspeople
Israel will provide Turkish business leaders with longer visas to the country in the future, according to Israel's consul general to Istanbul, Shai Cohen.
"For example, if one of you is involved in a visa application, it will be a three-year, multi-entry visa type," Cohen said Feb. 21 at the Turkey-Israel Business Forum organized by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM).

Turkey's exports witness highest rise in last 49 months: Association
Turkey's exports rose to $10.53 billion in January, a 15 percent increase compared to the same period of 2016 and the highest monthly rise in the last 49 months, the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) announced on Feb. 1.
Four airlines among Turkey's top 10 service exporters
Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines were named Turkey's top service exporters, followed by Çalık Energy, in a competition by the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TİM) in coordination with the Economy Ministry late on Dec. 24 in an award ceremony. There were two other Turkish carriers in the top 10 list too.
