Türkish Eximbank

Turkey will take new steps to help the country's exporters, including removing the requirement for security deposits,
restructuring Turkish Eximbank, and establishing a new fair center, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced on Sept. 18.

Russia's relaxation of trade sanctions against Turkey is expected to return bilateral relations to the level the countries enjoyed before a crisis in 2015, leading Turkish contractors said June 2. 

The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) has said it agreed to loan $270 million to Turkish Eximbank in a statement on Dec. 30. 

The loan is to finance Turkish export companies and it will be guaranteed by the treasury.

Turkish Eximbank is the official export credit agency of the Turkish government.

The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), the political risk insurance and credit enhancement arm of the World Bank Group, has announced that it will help Turkish Eximbank provide medium- and long-term funds to Turkish exporters.
