Germany will bar the use of critical components made by Chinese companies Huawei and ZTE in core parts of the country's 5G networks in two steps starting in 2026, the nation's top security official have said.

Germany, which has Europe's biggest economy, has long mulled what to do about components made by Chinese suppliers in its new-generation cellphone networks.

A majority of EU countries have rejected a push by Europe's big telecoms operators to force Big Tech to help fund the rollout of 5G and broadband in the region, people familiar with the matter said.

Dinlebi, Turkey's largest audiobook platform, has secured 515,000 euros of funding during its second seed round.

Dinlebi plans to use the investment to expand its userbase both in Turkey and in foreign markets, according to a company statement.

The transaction includes Telenors wholly-owned mobile operations in Hungary, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Serbia and the technology service provider Telenor Common Operation, a statement said.

NEW YORK -- The US-based Tesla Science Foundation has handed out the traditional Tesla Spirit Awards in a ceremony in New York.

The top honor was claimed by Tesla Motors owner Elon Musk.
