One of the world's most famous symbols of a band - the ruby red tongue and lips of the Rolling Stones - was inspired by the Indian goddess Kali, Mick Jagger has told Indian media.

Britain's Victoria and Albert Museum, which holds the original artwork in its collections, calls it "one of the world's most instantly recognizable symbols of rock and roll."

India: A Pigeon Has Been Arrested And Accused of Being a Pakistani Spy

A pigeon has been arrested by police in India on suspicion of being a spy from Pakistan.

The bird was seized on Thursday after being spotted carrying a "stamped message" on its body.

The message was written partly in Urdu, the official language of Pakistan. It also contained a Pakistani phone number, according to reports.

New York Times leads the way at 2020 Pulitzers

The New York Times picked up the most awards as the 2020 Pulitzer Prize winners were announced virtually on May 4 owing to the coronavirus outbreak.    

Prize board administrator Dana Canedy declared the winners from her living room via a livestream on YouTube rather than at a ceremony at New York's Columbia University.
