Türkiye's electric car producer Togg replaces board chairman
Fuat Tosyalı has been elected as the new head of Türkiye's electric vehicle producer, Togg.
Tosyalı, who is also head of the Turkish conglomerate, Tosyalı Holding, replaces Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who was at the helm of the company since 2018, according to a statement from Togg.
Hisarcıklıoğlu heads the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).
Mobile phone subscribers reach 93 million
The total number of mobile phone subscribers in Türkiye was 92.8 million in the third quarter of 2023, corresponding to a 108.8 penetration rate, according to a report by the telecommunication watchdog BTK.

Communications sector revenues up 41 percent
The combined sales revenues of communications companies in Türkiye increased by 40.7 percent in 2022 compared with the previous year to reach 130 billion Turkish Liras, a report by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) has shown.
In the final quarter alone sales revenues of those companies stood at 40 billion liras.
