Annual decline in home sales slows in May: Data
The pace of year-on-year decline in house sales slowed from nearly 36 percent in April to 7.7 percent in May, data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) have shown.
Home sales plunged more than 21 percent in March.

Rent prices in Antalya skyrocket due to war
Housing rent prices in the Mediterranean province of Antalya have skyrocketed from 2,500 to around 10,000 Turkish Liras (from $170 to nearly $680) due to high demand from Ukrainians and Russians, Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) executive Mustafa Ayanoğlu has said.

Red Crescent teams arrive at Ukrainian border
Turkish Red Crescent teams have arrived at the Romanian-Ukrainian border to coordinate humanitarian efforts to help people fleeing their country following the Russian attack on Ukraine.
The Red Crescent teams deployed at the Siret border crossing between Romania and Ukraine in the city of Suceava in Romania are working together with the International Red Crescent.

Poroshenko plans referendum on Ukraine's NATO membership
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko intends to call a referendum on whether his country should join the NATO.
He plans to do this "given polls that show 54 percent of Ukrainians now favor such a move," Reuters reported, quoting Germany's Funke Mediengruppe.
