Operation "Flash" 26 years later: We were expelled only because of our Serbian origin
In 36 hours, 15.000 Serbs were expelled from Western Slavonia, which was part of the then Republika Srpska Krajina and under UN protection, while 283 Serbs were killed.
More than 16.000 members of the Croatian armed forces marched on Western Slavonia on May 1, with about 15.000 inhabitants and 4.000 soldiers.

Memorial service for Serbs killed in Croatia
BELGRADE -- A memorial service for Serbs killed in September 1993 by Croatian forces in the Medak Pocket (Medački Džep) area was held in Belgrade on Tuesday.
Dozens of people - members of the families of the victims and Serb refugees from Croatia - gathered for the service.

Remains of 18 war victims exhumed at Slunj
BELGRADE - The remains of 18 persons, including two women, were exhumed from a mass grave at the location "Groblje" in Slunj between 16 and 18 of June this year.
The victims are Serbs from Kordun, killed in the aggression of Croatian armed forces in August 1995 (Operation Storm) on a UN protected area known as Sector North.

THE HAGUE -- With their genocide dispute before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, Serbia and Croatia have not closed the door to the reconciliation.
This was heard from the head of Serbia’s legal team, Saša Obradović.
