EU auditors say real CO2 emissions from most cars have not fallen
Real CO2 emissions from most passengers cars on EU roads are the same as 12 years ago despite reduction targets set in 2010 for newly registered vehicles, putting in jeopardy Europe's green agenda, the European Court of Auditors (ECA) said on Wednesday.
Some 100,000 EVs expected to be sold this year
Türkiye's electric vehicle market is expected to continue to grow at a fast pace well into 2024, with EV sales forecast to reach 100,000 units in the new year.
The EV market's expansion last year was astonishing. In January-November of 2023, a total of 60,101 EVs were sold in Türkiye, marking a staggering 867 percent increase from the same period of the previous year.

Renault top-selling car in secondhand market
Renault was the top-selling brand in Türkiye's secondhand market last year, according to data from Quick Finans SmartIQ.
In 2022, a total of 3.35 million vehicles changed hands, of which 542,000 were Renault brand cars. Volkswagen came second at 457,000, followed by Fiat at 321,000.

European car sales shift higher in March: data
Sales of new cars jumped last month in Europe, surpassing the level of one million for the first time since June 2021, according to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association published on Wednesday.
