Rising Costs: Skiing in Bulgaria Now Reaches 200 Leva Per Day
Skiing in Bulgaria's mountain resorts can cost at least 200 BGN per day, as a survey by "Telegraph" reveals. A breakdown of expenses shows that 100 BGN is required for a lift pass, while overnight accommodation starts at around 40 BGN. If equipment rental is necessary, including skis, boots, and poles, it adds another 30 BGN per person, totaling approximately 170 BGN.
The Bulgarian Court Obliges the Environment Minister to Make an Eco-assessment of Pirin Park
A three-member panel of the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) repealed the decision of Environment Minister Nino Dimov not to carry out an environmental assessment of the changes in the management of Pirin Park. Separately, the supreme magistrates give obligatory directions to Dimov to observe the laws on protected areas and the protection of the environment.
