Messi magic gets Argentina up and running
Lionel Messi scored a trademark individual goal as Argentina opened their World Cup campaign with a narrow 2-1 win over Bosnia-Hercegovina at Rio de Janeiro's renovated Maracana on June 16.
The Barcelona superstar created the third-minute own goal by Sead Kolasinac with which Argentina went ahead, but it took a mid-match tactical shift for him to really start influencing proceedings.

Lajovic through to Roland Garros fourth round
PARIS - Serbia's Dusan Lajovic reached the fourth round of the Roland Garros tennis tournament on Saturday by beating Jack Sock of the United States 6-4, 7-5, 6-3.
Current world number 83 Lajovic, who is Serbia's second-highest ranking male tennis player, achieved a career-best win that is bound to hand him a higher ATP ranking next week.

Serbian Davis Cup team to go to India for play-off tie
LONDON - The Serbian tennis team will take on India in a play-off tie, trying to keep its spot in the Davis Cup World Group, the London draw decided on Tuesday.
The matches will take place from September 12-14, and India will play a host.

Serbia ranks 28th on FIFA list
ZURICH - Serbia's soccer team improved its ranking by one position on the list of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and now occupies the 28th place on the list with the score at 762 points.
The team coached by Ljubinko Drulovic made progress on the list thanks to the victory against Ireland in the friendly match in Dublin last week, 2-1.
