Turkey's communications director on March 2 met Azerbaijan's Culture Minister Anar Kerimov.

Fahrettin Altun received an Azerbaijani delegation in the capital Ankara, according to an official statement from the Turkish Presidential Communications Directorate.

The two sides discussed ways to improve collaboration in communication, media, culture, and cinema, the statement said.

Azerbaijan on Feb. 28 warned Armenia not to deploy new troops to its territories.

In a Foreign Ministry statement, Baku said that deploying its forces in internationally recognized territories of Azerbaijan was contradicting international law and the basic principles of international human rights.

With the latest rescue operation in the Turkish capital, the number of the Ezidis rescued from terror groups has increased to three within the last 18-month period.

According to the information obtained by Anadolu Agency, Turkish intelligence and police units conduct operations both within the country and abroad to rescue those in need.

Turkey opposes all types of coup attempts, said President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan regarding the attempted military takeover in Armenia against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian.

"We are against all types of coups. We simply cannot accept coup attempts," Erdoğan told reporters in a brief news conference following Friday prayers in Istanbul.

Turkey on Feb. 25 slammed a decision by the Dutch House of Representatives to recognize the 1915 events as "genocide" against Armenians.  

Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hami Aksoy said the decision and calling on the government to recognize the events of 1915 as genocide is a null attempt to rewrite history with political motives.

Turkey has denounced the Armenian army's call for the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, stressing it is against military coups everywhere in the world.
