Turkey extends zero-tariffs on wheat imports to April
Turkey has extended the suspension of 20 percent tariffs on wheat, barley, and corn imports until April 30, 2021, according to a presidential decree published in the Official Gazette on Dec. 17.
In a previous decree on Oct. 30, wheat import tariffs had been suspended until the end of this year.

Turkey has completed discussions with 92 countries for resumption of flights, the country's transportation and infrastructure minister said on Aug. 14.
Turkey continues to operate scheduled and non-scheduled flights with 48 countries as of Aug. 13, Adil Karaismailoğlu said in a press release.
Turkey delivers medical aid to Bangladesh
Turkey's state-run aid agency on June 7 delivered medical supplies to Bangladesh in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
"TİKA [Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency] provided one thousand N95 masks, one thousand PPE suits, two ventilators and five thousand medical masks to support Bangladesh in fighting COVID-19," the Turkish Embassy in Dhaka said in a statement.

Turkey evacuates 4 COVID-19 patients from Bangladesh
Turkey on May 24 evacuated four COVID-19 patients including an expatriate from Bangladesh, officials said.
"Tuba Ahsan, a Turkish citizen, her Bangladeshi husband Mossaddique Ahsan, and their 3-year-old twins Huma and Ziyad were evacuated in an air ambulance," a statement by the Turkish Embassy in Dhaka read.
