Bus Fell from 150 Meters in Bolivia, eight people died
Eight people were killed and 31 injured after a bus fell on a 150-meter gorge on the road to Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia. This was reported by the ABI news agency on Friday, citing Ronaldo Sanchez, head of police at the Cochabamba Department, where the wounded were taken. According to preliminary data, the cause of the accident was a technical malfunction.

United Nations stresses support for Haiti cholera fight

Russia vetoes West's Syria resolution at UN Security Council
Moscow has vetoed a US-backed resolution condemning the Khan Shaykun incident on April 4 as a chemical attack while demanding that Syria open up its military bases to inspections.
Russia, which has veto power as one of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, was joined by Bolivia in voting down the resolution. China, Ethiopia and Kazakhstan abstained.
US 'prepared to do more' after Syria strike: US envoy
The U.S.'s strike on Syria in response to a chemical weapons attack was a "very measured step", Washington's envoy to the UN said April 7.
"We took a very measured step last night. We are prepared to do more.
We hope that it will not be necessary," Ambassador Nikki Haley told the Security
